Azeredo Paixão, Lda. ("LaCarte") is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website and service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the GDPR.

  • Account data — name, email, business details you provide at signup.
  • Billing data — handled by our payment processor Stripe; we store subscription status, not full card numbers.
  • Menu content — the dishes, descriptions, prices and images you upload.
  • Usage data — basic analytics (e.g. pages viewed) to improve the product.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the service, process payments, generate AI menus/animations/translations, provide support, and improve and secure the platform.

3. Legal bases

Performance of our contract with you, your consent (e.g. non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (improving and securing the service), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sharing and processors

We share data only with service providers (sub-processors) that help us run LaCarte, under appropriate data-processing agreements. These fall into categories such as: payment processing, cloud hosting and storage, AI services (to generate menus, animations and translations), email delivery, and product analytics. 5. International transfers

Where data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
